We are thrilled to welcome Carley DalPezzo to the Burn Prevention Network team as our new LV Prevention Outreach Coordinator!

Carley comes to BPN with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from DeSales, Pennsylvania State Teaching Certification (K-4), and a strong background in education, working for public school districts and in early childhood curriculum and program development. She also has many connections with first responders and a passion for empowering burn survivors.

Carley was drawn to this position because it combines two things she is passionate about: education and community impact. Throughout her career, she has worked in both early childhood education and adult learning and development, helping learners of all ages build knowledge, confidence, and skills. When she learned about Burn Prevention Network’s mission, she immediately connected with the organization’s commitment to education, prevention, and supporting communities. The opportunity to use her background in teaching and training to help keep children and families safe felt like a perfect fit.

Fire and EMS service has always been close to Carley’s heart. Through her family and friendships, she has witnessed firsthand the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment required to serve and protect others. She has many friends throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond who serve their communities as both career and volunteer firefighters and EMS professionals. Their passion for helping others has given her a deep appreciation for the fire and EMS community and the vital role they play every day.

Her husband is a paramedic with Bethlehem Township and Allentown and also volunteers with the Bath Fire Department. Her father-in-law and brothers-in-law serve with the Raritan Township Fire Department in New Jersey, and another brother-in-law is a career firefighter with the Manheim Township Fire Department. Through both family and friends, she has strong connections throughout the fire and EMS community across the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

This year, she hopes to deepen her knowledge of burn prevention and fire safety education while building strong relationships within the communities we serve. She looks forward to developing creative and engaging educational programs that reach children and families in meaningful ways. She also hopes to contribute new ideas that help expand community awareness, strengthen partnerships, and support Burn Prevention Network’s mission of prevention, education, and recovery.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Carley DalPezzo—we are so excited to have her on our team and can’t wait to see the positive impact she will have on children and families throughout the Lehigh Valley and Berks County!
