Bryan Evans Joins Board of Directors!

The Burn Prevention Network (BPN) is proud to welcome our newest board member, Bryan Evans.

Bryan serves as the Director of MedEvac and Critical Care Transport for Jefferson Health- Lehigh Valley, joining the MedEvac team in 2015.  MedEvac is a long time and proud supporter as a silver sponsor of VPSOC.  Bryan is a first responder for the last 26 years beginning his career in his hometown Pocono’s before attending College in Philadelphia and ultimately relocating to the Lehigh Valley.  He is an active firefighter at Lower Saucon Fire Rescue for 18 years (formerly Se-Wy-Co prior to the Lower Saucon Township Fire Company mergers) and held multiple leadership roles including a decade as a Chief Officer with time as Fire Chief, Deputy Chief and Battalion Chief now serving as Chief Safety Officer.  He has been the Emergency Management Coordinator for Lower Saucon Township for the past 13 years.  Bryan is a 2022 recipient of Burn Prevention Network’s Spirit of Courage award for actions during the rescue attempt at a tragic fatal fire.

He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governor’s University, a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration from Neumann University and is a graduate of the Drexel University Paramedic Program.  He is a Certified Medical Transport Executive, and Flight Paramedic.  He holds additional national/proboard certification as a Paramedic, Hazardous Materials Technician, Vehicle Rescue Technician and Firefighter.  Bryan presents and speaks nationally on Helicopter EMS topics including safety, leadership development, mental resiliency and patient experience.

Bryan’s volunteer work includes multiple terms on the Board of Directors for the Eastern PA EMS Council, including a term as Vice-President, is a member of the Standards Committee for the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, a guest instructor for Every Coast Helicopter Operations (ECHO)’s Future Flight Leader Program.  He proudly began his volunteer EMS/Fire service in Monroe County.

Bryan resides in Lower Saucon Township with his wife, daughter, son and two labs. He is excited to join the BPN Board of Directors and share his connections, experience and knowledge supporting the organizations key mission and we are deeply grateful for his willingness to serve!
