Introducing Channel Kearse, Burn Prevention Network’s New Outreach Coordinator for Northeast Pennsylvania

We are thrilled to welcome Channel Kearse to the Burn Prevention Network family as our new Outreach Coordinator for Northeast Pennsylvania! With a strong background in community development and a passion for connecting with others, Channel brings energy and experience to her new role.

A Journey Rooted in Community 

Channel’s journey to BPN began with her work as an Outreach Coordinator for the city of  Scranton, PA, where she discovered how essential it is for communities to come together to thrive. “This position introduced me to what community looks like and how vital it is for communities to work together,” she shares. Joining BPN allows her to continue her passion for community engagement on an even larger scale while building meaningful connections.

A Diverse Upbringing and Perspective 

Born in Topeka, Kansas, Channel’s life has been marked by frequent moves, which she credits with shaping her adaptability and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. This diverse background has become a strength in her work, making her a natural at building bridges within the community.

Excitement for the Role 

Channel is looking forward to diving into her work at BPN, particularly networking with community members and the families the organization serves. She’s eager to learn as much as she can from her team and hopes to uncover new ways to make a difference.

Dreams and Aspirations 

Channel dreams big. She envisions combining her love for modeling and her advocacy skills into a public-facing ambassador role, where she can promote causes close to her heart. Her ultimate goal is to retire early and dedicate herself fully to community advocacy—a mission she is already well on her way to achieving.
