Seasonal Safety Tip

We encourage everyone to enjoy this holiday by attending professional firework displays produced by your local township, municipality or local amusement park.  Fireworks in many states are legal, leaving people to believe that if they are legal, then they must be safe. This is a misleading falicy.  Did you know that sparklers reach an internal temperature of 1800 degrees?  Most firewok burn injuries occur to children under the age of 5 handling sparklers.

Be safe.....keep fireworks in the hands of professionals qualifed to handle them and keep our children out of harm's way of backyard displays.  Please keep in mind that fireworks sold for individual use may be unstable, unpredictable and unreliable and are the resultof many unfortunate burn injuries.

Have a happy and burn safe holiday! For more summer safety visit " DontLetSummerBurnYou".

Safety Lines

The majority of fires occur in the home and at night.  Is your family prepared? The smell of smoke won't always awaken you and the toxic gases produced by fire can put you into a deeper sleep.  A properly functioning smoke detectors can increase your chance of survival by 50.  You and your family can survive a fire if you know how to react quickly and correctly. Please read our summer SafetyLines. PlanYourEscape
