Ways to Volunteer

Educational Programs

You will be involved in our fire and burn prevention programs such as:

• Puppet Shows for preschoolers featuring Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie
• Burn safety instruction and fire survival demonstrations for school age children
• Fire Safety House Program
• Fire and Burn Safety presentations for Older Adults

Volunteer Education and Training

We provide training on how to teach children and older adults as well as instructions for conducting our puppet shows and using other visual aids. Our orientation and training sessions are opportunities to meet other volunteers.

Other Volunteer Activities

You will have the opportunity to participate in any of the following activities:

• Health Fairs and Expos
• Clerical Support for our office and special burn prevention campaigns
• Special Events - our annual Golf Tournament and Concours d' Elegance

Whether you spend your hours volunteering for our educational programs or other activities, your time will be well spent and valuable to our Foundation. Our agency makes all the arrangements and supplies the materials.
